    Our standard

    We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, which also supports the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). We review the site regularly and test with automated tools, keyboard-only navigation, and screen readers.

    What we have done

    • Keyboard access to every link, button, form, calculator, and interactive chart, with a visible focus indicator.
    • A “Skip to main content” link and consistent page structure with headings and landmarks.
    • Text and interface colors that meet WCAG AA contrast ratios.
    • A pause control for videos, the ticker, and animated charts, and support for your device’s reduced-motion setting.
    • Screen-reader labels for charts, calculator sliders, and form messages.
    • Pages available in English and Spanish, with the correct page language declared.

    Known limitations

    Some downloadable PDF documents and older articles may not yet be fully accessible. If you need any document in an accessible format, contact us and we will provide it promptly.
